Guidelines for Cresson Dance Program 2010
Placement: It is possible that your child will be asked to attend a different class after we observe the number and ability of students enrolled in the program.
Attendance: Students are expected to be on time and ready to dance for all classes and rehearsals. Appropriate absences are excusable, but a note or telephone call is requested in order to assist us in making sure your child is safe. Regular attendance is necessary for progress in the art of dance.
Cancellations: Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please call the Cresson Elementary office before 4 pm at 689-9230 if the weather is questionable.

Students will also respect the property of others and that of the facilities. Students are expected to be on time, well prepared, and open and eager to learn.
Scholarships: A limited number of full and partial scholarships will be available. Scholarship applications are included with the Dance Enrollment packets available at the Cresson Elementary School office. Completed scholarship applications must be returned to the instructor for review; however, tuition must be paid until a scholarhip has been awarded. Scholarship applications must be renewed annually. Scholarship students are expected to have exemplary behavior and attendance. The students will also be required to help with set-up and clean-up. Parents of scholarship students will be asked to participate in volunteer activities.
Parents: Help your dancer read and understand these guidelines. Discuss what commitment means with your child. Consider possible conflicts with other activities such as scouts and sports before enrolling, and help your child set priorities.
Communication: After class, ask your dancer if there are any announcements or notices. Also, please feel free to check our website at cressondance.org. Please communicate with us regarding any questions, conflicts, financial problems, etc. Most situations can be resolved with a simple phone call.

If a student is not picked up after class, they will be required to wait outside of the building with no supervision. Thank you!
